Imran Khan’s insurmountable Will is his main strength….

Imran Khan’s speech on the occasion of Islamia College Peshawar’s centenary celebrations was so richly pregnant with longings and so intensely impassioned in its delivery that I couldn’t help an urge to compliment him. The crux of his message to the builders and the master builders of tomorrow was: Keep your goals high and sublime. Don’t regard material gains as your goals. No one remembers any rich man in history for his riches. Only those live in the minds and hearts of the people who leave behind legacy of accomplishments and achievements in the cause of society and mankind.”
Imran Khan cited his own dreams and struggles in this context, with moving sincerity of purpose. I texted him as follows.
“Absolutely inspired speech of a fired visionary which, you know, I have always regarded you to be despite certain differences in viewpoints. It will be a national tragedy if you fail. I don’t see another Imran Khan in the making on the horizons-God be your guide and helper”.
His reply was typically IK-like. “Thank you Akbar Sahib. But failure is not an option for us. WE WILL WIN INSHAAHAH”.
Those who are excessively ‘judgmental’ while judging Imran Khan shouldn’t evaluate him by the attention-seekers around him. His main strength lies in his insurmountable will.
