ISLAMABAD, January 6: President Mamnoon Hussain says new laws are being framed to remove sense of deprivation of tribal people.
Addressing students and faculty of Islamia College Peshawar and Lahore in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said overall situation in Tribal Areas has improved. The event was held as part of the commemoration of the Quaid-i-Azam’s birth anniversary.
The President stated that robust economic activities would be generated after the operationalization of Economic Corridor and new opportunities of employment would be available and the youth should start preparing themselves in order to take advantage from these opportunities.
The President said that the current educational curriculum is not up to the requirements of the modern age and work is underway for introducing reforms in it. He added that soon new educational reforms would be introduced. The President said that in order to earn our place in the comity of nations we need the passion of Pakistan Movement once again so that we could strengthen our economic infrastructure by eliminating corruption from our country. “Youth can play the most effective role in jihad against corruption”, remarked the President.
