MIRPUR KHAS, April 01: Pak Sar Zameen Party (PSP) opened its office in Mirpur Khas Thursday. Addressing the gathered workers at the inaugural ceremony, former Mayor Karachi and leader of PSP, Mustafa Kamal, once again lambasted his opponents. He stated that the party will replace the stones in the hands of those who pelted them in Mirpur Khas and Tando Allahyar with pens.
Addressing the workers in Muhajir Colony, Kamal severely criticized
MQM chief Altaf Hussain, without naming him. He congratulated the workers who faced the stones hurled at them by their opponents and advised his workers of not taking vengeance. He added that those hurling stones will be welcomed the next time. Kamal stated that the MQM chief uses foul language at first during his speeches and later on apologises. Referring to his opponents as pharaohs, Kamal said that “how would it have been possible for us to face God after dying without challenging the ‘pharaohs’?”. He also pondered as to why his adversaries are afraid of his party as it has been only a few days since its formation. Kamal further added that he and Qaimkhani returned to the country not to be enemies with someone but their return was based only for reconciliatory purposes. Former MQM member Anees Qaimkhani also addressed the workers. The party leaders were earlier given a grand welcome on their arrival. Tension ran high earlier as MQM and Kamal’s Pak Sar Zameen Party (PSP) workers clashed with one another in the areas of Mirpur Khas and Tando Allahyar. MQM’s enraged group pelted the vehicles of Kamal’s cavalcade with stones, shattering the windows of many. According to the details, Confrontation occurred between the MQM and PSP group. Both groups chanted slogans against one another. The war of words then escalated into a brawl. – Agencies
