Gen Raheel, Ishaq Dar discuss budgetary needs of Pak Army

Rawalpindi, April 1: Army Chief General Raheel Sharif held a meeting with Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in Rawalpindi on Friday, military media wing reported. According to ISPR, matters related to Army budget were discussed in the meeting. Both the leaders have discussed defence budget for Pakistan Army in detail as a part of budget to be presented in June. Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said that defence carries paramount importance for the country. He assures Army Chief General Raheel Sharif that necessary resources will be allocated for defense. Budgetary requirements of Pak Army for the next financial year figured during the meeting. – Online
