ISLAMABAD, April 5: The Executive Board Meeting (EBM) of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) was held under the chairmanship of Qamar Zaman Chaudhry, Chairman NAB at NAB Headquarters here today. The following decisions were made during the Executive Board Meeting (EBM).
The Executive Board Meeting (EBM) decided to file one corruption reference against Syed Sohail Altaf, Ex-Secretary, Health Department, KP & others. In this case, the accused persons were alleged for corruption, corrupt practices and misuse of authority.
The accused allegedly caused loss to the tune of Rs. 15.756 million to the national exchequer.
The Executive Board Meeting (EBM) decided to authorize two (2) investigations. First investigation was authorized against officers/officials of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and others. In this case, the accused persons were alleged for corruption, corrupt practices and misappropriation in the sale of the building of Embassy of Pakistan at Jakarta. Thus caused loss of millions of rupees to the national exchequer. PR
