RAWALPINDI, April 10: The finals of the historic and one of the most prestigious polo trophies, MP Bhandara Memorial were held on Sunday. A large number of polo enthusiasts and notables attended. The chief guest of the event Portugese Ambassador Mr Costa. Members of the National Assembly Malik Ibrar and Rumina Khursheed, came out to the Race Course Park, Polo Ground in Rawalpindi to witness the final of the 112th Murree Brewery Polo Cup. The final was contested between Remount Maroon and ASC. ASC came out the eventual winner.
The event was hosted by Member National Assembly and CEO Murree Brewery Isphanyar Bhandara. After the event Bhandara declared the event as a great success. He said the such sporting events are aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle and bringing the nation together to share in the joy of sports. In addition to the exciting polo final the event also was adorned by a collection of vintage cars and Harley Davidson heavy bikes, which were appreciated by the audience for their beauty and style.-PR
