884101365_Harsha_Bhogle[1]MUMBAI: The commentary contract of commentator Harsha Bhogle for Indian Premiere League 2016 was terminated by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).An Indian news agency, citing an official from the Indian cricketing board, said that the decision may have been taken after response from the players. Some reports suggested that Bhogle’s contract was terminated following his praise for players other than Indians during the World Twenty20 2016.Harsha in his tweet on Sunday said that it would have been nice to be part of IPL again and was looking forward to it.BCCI official said, “When deciding the commentators, we take feedback from everyone. We monitor social media reactions on commentators, and also take inputs from players.”It should be noted that Bhogle has been a part of the commentary team of the cash rich cricketing league since it started back in 2008.
