RAWALPINDI, January 11: U.S special envoy for Afghanistan and Pakistan Richard G. Olson called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif at General Headquarters, army said Monday.
According to a statement issued by the ISPR, General Sharif and Richard Olson discussed overall regional security situation with particular reference to situation in Afghanistan during the meeting. The special envoy appreciated the efforts of Pakistan in fight against terrorism.
