ISLAMABAD, April 12: Foreign Office said on Tuesday that that stranded Pakistanis in Tashkuergan in Xinjiang province of China will be repatriated by air from Urumqi to Islamabad as when flights are available.
Foreign Office said that it is expected that the first batch may leave on 14 April 2016 for Pakistan.
In the meantime, necessary assistance will be extended to them.
The visa issues faced by some of them are being taken care of with the assistance of Chinese authorities. The Pakistanis in Tashkuergan shall be travelling to Kashgar where they will be facilitated by Embassy Officials.

The 45 Pakistanis, who were stranded in Tashkuergan in Xinjiang province due to inclement weather, are in good health. A two member team of Pakistan Embassy, Beijing, which reached Kashgar to assist the stranded people, is closely coordinating with the Chinese Foreign Office and local authorities in Kashgar as well as the Pakistanis.-Online
