ISLAMABAD, January 15: President Mamnoon Hussain says the country’s leadership is fully prepared to deal with the challenges of national security and was determined to eliminate terrorism and militancy.
Addressing the graduates of National Security Course at the National Defence University in Islamabad on Friday, he said efforts are afoot to ensure peace in the country and in the region.
He said terrorism has become a global issue that requires a joint approach by all states to fight this menace.

The President said the international community is supporting Pakistan’s counter-terrorism efforts.
He said Pakistan wanted restoration of peace in Afghanistan and was extending cooperation to its neighbor for enduring peace in the region.
He said Pakistan is in favour of peaceful relations with India and wanted to resolve all outstanding issues including the Kashmir dispute through dialogue.
The armed forces have rendered immense sacrifices in fight against terrorism.-Online
