1LAHORE, April 24: Former Punjab Governor and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Punjab president candidate Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar has said the PTI will be compelled to stage a protest sit-in against the menace of corruption, if the government will not listen to its demands. He said that every Pakistani was serious about rooting out corruption except the rulers themselves.
He said the PTI had become country’s biggest political and could oust rulers from the corridors of power by mass-power. He said the problems would continue piling up, if corruption would not be rooted out of the country.
He said the enthusiasm shown by people while participating in the party’s 20th Foundation Day showed that people were standing with
the PTI.Chaudhry Sarwar was talking to media persons on the occasion of Foundation Day Caravan leaving from Qaddafi Stadium to Islamabad on Sunday.
PTI leaders Jahangir Khan Tareen, Abdul Aleem Khan, former Punjab president Ejaz Chaudhry, opposition leader Mian Mahmoodur Rasheed, MPAs Mian Aslam Iqbal, Dr Nausheen Hamid and thousands of party workers were present on the occasion. Chaudhry Sarwar said Imran Khan had rejected the inquiry commission constituted by the government and therefore could not trust any such commission because the rulers were ready to go to any extent to protect their corruption and looted money. He said the rulers would be acting against themselves by not listening to the PTI demands with regard to the constitution of inquiry commission.
“If the government will not remove PTI reservations about the investigation of Panama Leaks, it will be forced to stage a sit-in in Lahore and it will be impossible for the government to go on,” he warned. Chaudhry Sarwar said that any political party, which would not join hands in Imran Khan’s movement against corruption, would die its political death soon.
He said people were no more ready to tolerate any person, supporting the PML-N. He said the PTI’s battle for change was continuing successfully and it would sweep the next general elections in the country. He said the PTI would take revolutionary steps to curb corruption after coming into power. He said only PTI could now drive the country out of crises. Ejaz Ahmad Chaudhry said the rulers’ exact mission was to loot and plunder national wealth and the PTI was ready to come out on roads against corruption and looting national wealth. He said the PTI workers would be ready to act upon their leader’s announcements. He said the PML-N would not be able to complete its constitutional tenure due to its wrongdoings. Mian Mahmoodur Rasheed said Nawaz Sharif would soon be sent packing home and the PTI would form its government. He said the inquiry commission to probe the Panama Leaks was nothing but a jugglery item. He said the commission had been constituted to protect rulers’ corruption and plundering of national wealth.-Online
