ISLAMABAD, April 25: Opposition leader in National Assembly and PPPs leader Syed Khurshid Shah has demanded that accountability should be abroad. Being head of the state, accountability of PM should be conducted in first phase.
Talking to media persons in Islamabad, Khurshid Shah said that moral position of PM is weak as he has failed to expose his assets.
“The formation of commission under the supervision of Chief Justice of Pakistan was the unanimous demand of opposition while our demand was to probe the assets of PM and his other family members”, Shah added.
He said that combine strategy of opposition would come out on May, 2nd as it has not been finalized so far.
Khursheed Shah further said that opposition was not consulted while writing a letter to Chief Justice of Pakistan, on which we have some reservations adding that letter should be written to CJ as per demand of the opposition.
“We do not like the probe from 1947 and if the commission has started its investigation from same year it would take the period of one century”, Shah concluded.-Online
