LAHORE, January 15: After gaining attention of the selectors by doing outstanding performance in Bangladesh Premiere League, Cricketer Muhammad Amir will be seen playing again in Pakistan Cricket Team after 5 years.
Muhammad Amir earned a good name right from the start of his career and proved himself an outstanding bowler after many famous batsmen got out by him. But it was in 2010 when Muhammad Amir’s career went into a serious strain when his involvement in spot fixing was exposed while Pakistan Cricket Team was on England visit.
The characters of spot fixing drama were then Captain Salman Butt, Muhammad Asif and the young bowler Muhammad Amir. All three players were paid huge amounts of money by a bookie named Mazhar Majeed. Scotland Yard launched investigation on Muhammad Amir after which all the doors to cricket were shut down on him.
In 2015, Muhammad Amir completed his punishment and announced his return in International Cricket. Amir’s outstanding performance in Bangladesh Premiere League won the hearts of the selectors and he got selected in cricket team for New Zealand visit, in which he came in action after 5 years. DNA
