PanamaLeaksISLAMABAD, May 12: Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif has on Thursday postponed his visit to National Assembly (NA) till Monday. Earlier, he was going to visit NA on Friday but will now visit on Monday, sources reported.
Talking informally to media, NA Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that the arrangements have been made with Opposition about PM’s address. “I want to run the house in a pleasant mood”, he said. He added that Opposition Leader Khurshid Shah was currently unwell
and would be able to join the session on Monday.
Ayaz Sadiq said that the opposition had assured him of keeping the environment fine during PM’s address. He told that he had also consulted with the ministers in this regard.
“If PM wants to attend the session on Friday as well, it’s up to him but the policy statement on Panama Leaks will be given on Monday”, said Ayaz Sadiq.
It is pertinent to mention here that Opposition had demanded taking the house into confidence on Panama Leaks issue.-Agencies
