Under-19: Cricket Pakistan beat New Zealand by 31 runs

DUBAI: Pakistan Under-19 defeated New Zealand Under-19 by 31 runs in the ongoing Tri-Nation Under-19 Tournament at Dubai, ARY News reportedNew Zealand U-19 won the toss and chose to field first.
Batting first, Pakistan U-19 scored 279/9 in their 50 overs with Saif Badar missed out on his century by a run as he remained not out at 99 while captain Gauhar Hafeez made 58 runs.
Shadab Khan also fell two short of a 50 as he was dismissed on 48 runs.
Rachin Ravindra took two wickets for New Zealand while Felix Murray dismissed two batsmen. Zak Gibson, Ross ter Braak and Christian Leopard got one wicket each as well.
New Zealand, despite a century by Leopard, failed to reach the target as they were all out on 248 runs in their 45.3 overs.
Leopard made 116 runs from 71 balls with the help of 12 balls and seven sixes while Josh Finnie made 35 runs from 34 balls.
Murray contributed 27 runs from 42 balls as well.
Hasan Mohsin grabbed three wickets while Saif Ali, Shadab Khan and Hasan Khan dismissed three batsmen each in the match.
