Nobody is going to buy the argument of Afghanistan’s ambassador in Pakistan that it doesn’t lie in the interest of his country that its land should be used by India against Pakistan. Facts are quite contrary to what he has said. Facts are facts and they prove beyond reasonable doubt that New Delhi has been trying throughout to stir trouble in Pakistan in cahoots with Kabul. Of all the countries why did Kabul oppose our membership of the UN soon after it was created on the world map in 1947? Wasn’t it at the behest of India?
Who masterminded umpteen attacks of mobs on our Embassy in Kabul and who was behind the sacrilege of our national flag hoisted there? The Afghanistan ambassador during his recent TV interview with a private channel admitted presence of four Indian consulates in Afghanistan. It is an open secret that the Indian spies working as press, military and commercial attaches in these consulates have been bankrolling subversion inside Pakistan.
There are many outlaws involved in sectarian killings inside Pakistan who have taken refuge in Afghanistan and despite our repeated requests Kabul has not been cooperating and not handing them over to us. A recent case in point is Mullah Fazlullah who is involved in rebellion against Pakistan army and who is harboring in Afghanistan.
The Afghanistan ambassador in his interview admitted the largeheartedness of Pakistanis who have been accepting with open arms millions of Afghan refugees during the past two decades or so because they belong to the same faith to which they belong but can he recall the insulting treatment meted out to a handful of muslims of India who had tried to migrate to Afghanistan on religious grounds under the hijrat movement back in 1920 because the Britishers had asked the Afghan rulers to make life difficult for them?
