Pervez MusharrafISLAMABAD, June 14: Chairman of the APML General (r) Pervaiz Musharaf has strongly condemned Afghan forces firing on Torkham border.
Musharraf said in a statement on Tuesday that India is behind the provocation of the Afghan forces which will have negative impact on the security and stability of the region.
“This region cannot afford such kind of provocations,” he said.
He said the government should take the matter with Afghanistan at high level and try to find out a durable solution.
He said the involvement of Iran and India in Afghanistan makes problems for their neighbours.
He said tensions between Afghan and Pakistan is not in favour of both countries. He said Pakistan considers India as a brotherly country and both should amicably solve the problem. -DNA
