Pakistan’s Army Chief has taken a huge initiative in taking matters in his own hands and calling Afghan President Ashraf Ghani who is in Davos for attending a meeting of the World Economic Forum. General Raheel Sharif has also called Afghan Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah, and top US as well as NATO Commander in Afghanistan General John Campbell. The purpose of these calls is to inform them all about the evidence that has emerged from investigations into the Bacha Khan University carnage. This evidence apparently is an open-and-shut case against the perpetrators of this heinous crime who are based in Afghanistan.
The Pak Army Chief has taken the matter into his own hands— having no confidence in the government in power which is more concerned with winning laurels for grand conciliatory moves towards India which we all know is supervising, in collusion with the Afghan Secret Agency, all the camps established in Afghanistan for the specific purpose of conducting ‘terrorist operations’ in Pakistan.
The Charsadda attack is masterminded by a lieutenant of Molvi Fazlullah who is an absconding terrorist from Pakistan and whom Afghanistan and India are providing joint protection.
One wishes our Prime Minister too had simulated the example of the Army Chief in demanding the handing-over to Pakistan of the culprits responsible for the Bacha Khan University massacre of innocent students.
