LAHORE, July 20: The world acknowledged right of the Kashmiri people of plebiscite should be given as this has put a question mark on the world bodies like United Nations.
A statement issued here on Wednesday by PAT media cell said that the Chairman of Pakistan Awami Tehreek Dr. Tahirul Qadri stated this while addressing workers and leader in a conference in Birmingham, UK.
He said that the millions of people of Kashmir cannot be deprived of their world recognized right, as this amount to severe violation of human rights. He said it is astonishing why the world bodies are not acting on this issue and have kept their eyes closed for years now. The PAT chief expressed his serious concern over the Indian troops violence on the innocent and unarmed people of Held Kashmir. He said the Indian government will have to come to the negotiation talk and cannot shut the door through violence and state-sponsored terrorism. He said that all major issues in the world are resolved through dialogue and the Indian government will have to open talks with the concerned parties to solve this issue. Dr. Tahirul Qadri criticized the Kashmir policy of the Nawaz Government and said that personal relations of the Sharifs’ have severely damaged the Kashmir cause. He said the sole purpose of the present rulers is to amass wealth, one way or the other. He said how a corrupt government can fight for the rights of the Kashmiri people. The PAT chief is in UK on a six-day visit where he is addressing different conferences, seminars and party conventions.-Online
