LAHORE, July 21: Former Punjab Governor and the leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Chaudhry Sarwar has said that their movement is against the corruption not the democracy.
Sarwar said the party would end the protests only on acceptance of the opposition’s Terms of Reference for the Judicial Commission and it doesn’t believe in the unconstitutional ways to form the government rather the party would come to the power with the votes and public support.
Imran Khan would become the Prime Minister through ballot only, former governor explained while warning the government against refusing the opposition’s demands on Terms of Reference.
He further said that the PML-N government was trying the befool the nation by playing the democracy card, he warned while adding that the people were aware of the old tactics of the incumbent government and would not fall prey to them again. -Online
