Army played key role in restoration of peace in the country, particularly Balochistan: Governor

QUETTA, August 07: Governor Balochistan Muhammad Khan Achakzai says, Army has played an important role in restoration of peace in the country, particularly Balochistan. Addressing the inauguration ceremony of Azadi Sports Festival in Quetta he said the nation is participating in Independence Day celebrations with full zeal and passion. The governor said the people of Balochistan are standing by the Army in efforts being made to get durable peace in the province. Later, the governor, Commander Southern Command, Lt-General Aamir Riaz, provincial Sports Minister Mir Mujibur Rehman Muhammad Hasni distributed trophies and medals among winners of sports events.-SABAH
