The eyes of the entire nation are fixed on the prime minister’s address to the United Nations which he is going to make in a few days’time .He is foreign minister of the country also.He could not find any suitable person in his party for the coveted job of foreign minister so he has been wearing two caps since 2013 ,one of the PM and the other of foreign minister.
Let us be frank:the man in the street does not like his defensive and apologetic attitude towards his Indian counterpart. His kid-glove treatment with the Indian prime minister is being taken as a weakness by Modi. The nation expects him that without mincing words he should now demand free and fair referendum in Kashmir from India in his UN speech drawing, the attention of New Delhi to the UN resolution on Kashmir which makes it binding on India to hold plebiscite in the occupied valley. The PM must not forget that his silence on Kashmir has enabled his political foes to accuse him of his inherent desire to develop trade ties with India,Kashmir or no Kashmir, so that he and the business community of the country which he represents could find access to the big commercial market of India for selling the products of their factories. The nation also expects from the PM that he in his speech in the UN would bring to the notice of the world, India’s continuous violation of Water Accord with Pakistan by constructing dams on our waters in its bid to render our lands barren and bleed us white economically.
Meanwhile, true to its wont, New Delhi continues to foment trouble for us in Baluchistan by every possible mean it could think of.There are reports that Modi has given green signal to the All India Radio to start a new propaganda radio service in Balochi language with the under lying objective of inciting the political Balochi mavericks and angry youngsters to stir trouble for Pakistan.
