As per Kamran Khan, a huge breakthrough has been achieved in Indo-Pak relations through that miraculous two-minute meeting in Paris between Modi and Mian. This kind of breakthrough has eluded us for decades. This was the impression Kamran Khan gave his audience on the night of the 7th of December through his emotion-charged speech that seemed to make a mockery of the doubts nearly ninetynine percent people of this country have about the intentions of the merchants of hate and priests of death and destruction who man the Hindutva wing of the ruling party of India.
If I am not accused of being a practitioner of ‘conspiracy theories’, I dare to state here that the much-projected two-minute meeting between the two big Ms of this region was scripted— orchestrated and stage-managed to trigger yet another false trumpet of the hopes of Pakistan and India rushing half way down to get locked into an embrace of massive mutual goodwill.
The seeds of this massive goodwill do exist in the minds of Mian because of his special interest in the sub-continental merchandise, but Modi is a creature of venomous hatred for Muslims.
What do the script-writers want?
Empowerment of all such actors in the political scenario of Pakistan who will not mind unfolding of a process that will progressively push Pakistan towards systematic ‘denuclearization’.
This is a cherished goal of the West. India is its logical ally. Mian Nawaz Sharif is the willing puppet. And Pak Army the villain of the story.
