KUANTAN (Dunya News) – In a crucial encounter of Asian Hockey Champions Trophy, Pakistan defeat China 4-0 and qualified for the semi final.
Pakistan will face hosts Malaysia in the semi final.The match between Pakistan and China witnessed an aggressive start as Abdul Haseem Khan was able to provide the breakthrough in twenty first minute through penalty corner.
Abdul Haseem Khan was able to throw the ball in opposition’s net for the second time 10 minutes right after the first goal.
Pakistan’s lead was enhanced further by Ali Shan and Irfan Ali who were being able to provide breakthroughs at regular intervals. The final score was 4-0 and with this victory, Pakistan was able to make its reservation in last four.
Pakistan stood third on point table with nine points.
