ISLAMABAD, October 31: PTI Chairman, Imran Khan said that the meaning of Democracy is Independence. Democratic institutions give rights to the people.
He said this while giving an interview to ARY News in Islamabad on Monday evening. He said that the democratic institutions give rights to the people. He said that it never happened during the dictatorship of Pervez Musharraf as the present ruler Nawaz Sharif and Chaudhry Nisar did on Monday by ordering the police to use teargas, rubber bullets and baton charge against male and female workers of PTI.
He said our workers are being arrested from their houses and violence is being carried out against them.
He asked that under which law they have arrested our workers and beaten them. Imran said that we have not violated any law so why I have been put under house arrest. He said KP Chief Minister is coming to Bani Gali to meet his Chairman. Which law he has violated and why our workers have been teargassed.
He said to save the corruption of one person whole of the country is being put on stake. He said inshallah Pervez Khattak will reach Islamabad and ten lakh people would be gathered in Islamabad.
He said my and my wokers morale is very high. They will reach Islamabad by crossing all the barriers erected by the Government. – Agencies
