Let us admit that Imran Khan has done a wonderful job by carrying out a long and sustained campaign to expose the corruption in the high places and show the true faces of both Zardari and Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif and their cronies to the common man. Zardari is shit-scared that in case Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif gets his just deserts no power on earth could save him also from his accountability, therefore, he would never support any move aimed at putting the prime minister in the dock despite the fact that there is no love lost between him and Nawaz Sharif. Both these politicians are sailing in the same boat. They made hay while the sun shone on them. They are notoriously corrupt and are filthy rich, so to speak
There is no denying the fact that success of Imran Khan is one in the eye for both the PML (N) Chief and the PPP co-chairman.
The role of Khurshid Shah has been dubious, to say the least. He has been talking tongue in cheek on the current agitation of the PTI against the Prime minister .No one can work out what is he up to? Whose side is he on? Prime ministers or Imran Khan’s?
Small wonder Khurshid Shah has been nick-named as Double Shah by the PTI chairman.
Bilawal has also been issuing statements on the present political tumult in the country but he too suffers from contradictions galore. The sober political element of the country doesn’t take him serious because of the financial shenanigans of his party leaders headed by his father during their stay in power between 2008 and 2013. The PPP co-chairperson should be the last person to talk about the corrupt practices of the Sharif brothers because they themselves have a very poor track record in this respect.
