FAISALABAD, November 28: Opposition leader Khursheed Shah on Monday said that it is shameful that Prime Minister is using Qatari Royal’s letter to shield himself from probe of Panama case.
“Now I have 100 percent doubt on the premier after Qatari royal’s letter surfaced,” he said.
While talking to media, he said, “The skepticism surrounding Panamagate scandal developed into conviction as the letter from Qatari prince has substantiated these doubts.”
There was no mention of Qatari prince in the whole story but it is quite shameful to leverage the letter to salvage the premiership, he observed.
“The ball is now in the court of PM Nawaz as whether he wants to help us support the corruption bill or not. He has to decide that does he want to be secure from the 1990 happening or not,” he affirmed.
Khursheed Shah pronounced that if their party had remain silent then the government would have fallen however; if they had sided with Imran Khan then democracy would have been shattered. Shah reiterated that they will never support 24th amendment. He asserted democracy will be incomplete if it does not include the son of Benazir Bhutto.
PPP leader Qamar Zaman Kaira lambasted Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Shehbaz Sharif and said that he is using the same language as he once used against Benazir Bhutto. “People know who had links with Indian dancers and who are fond of marriages. One should first see himself and then talk about others,” said Kaira. -DNA
