BRISBANE: Pakistani leg-spinner Yasir Shah and fast bowler Wahab Riaz reportedly scuffled during a practice session for tomorrow’s Test match against Australia. According to our correspondent, the two players had quarreled after verbal altercation when they were playing football; however, other players intervened and averted the clash.
The unpleasant incident came just one day before Pakistan’s clash with Australia in the first Test match. Meanwhile, Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), while commenting over the incident, said action will be taken if anyone found responsible, in the light of relevant officials’ report. – Samaa
