DERA MURAD JAMALI , February 07: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Sunday has put forward five demands before the government.
While addressing at a rally in Dera Murad Jamali, he said that the first demand is that the government should minimize the prices of petrol, kerosene oil and diesel.
He asked the authorities to take back infrastructure tax on gas.
In his third demand, Imran Khan said that the three taxes imposed on electricity should be reversed.
The fourth demand was to rectify the steel mills, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and other national departments.
In his fifth demand the PTI chief asked to immediately pay the wages of steel mills employees and other departments.
Moreover, Imran Khan also threatened of taking to streets if the demands are not fulfilled.
Earlier, while talking to media before the rally he stated that the crisis of PIA is due to failed governmental policies.
PTI chief monitored rally preparations in Dera Murad Jamali and stated that government doesn’t take nation into confidence while deciding on anything. He said that the concerning department had to discuss PIA privatization matter in Parliament.
He said that the suggestions were necessary before taking any step or measurements.
Talking about National Action Plan (NAP), Khan said that its federation’s responsibility to ensure implementation of NAP. He assured that police and other security personnel would win war on terror.
PTI chief stated that party will surely participate in Karachi by-elections.-Agencies
