ISLAMABAD, December 28: National Institute of Historical and Culturel Research (NIHCR), Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of Peshawar (UOP) on Wednesdayat the NIHCR building, Shahdara Road to contribute and publish manuscripts in the field of Social Sciences.
The MoU was signed by Syed Umar Hayat, Officer Incharge on behalf of NIHCR, while UoP was represented by Vice Chancellor University of Peshawar, Prof. Dr. Rasol Jan. Prof. Dr. Javed Ashraf, Vice-Chancellor Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) Islamabad, Prof. Dr. Minhaj Ul Hassan Syed, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences University of Peshawar (UOP) and Prof. Dr. Sayed Wiqar Ali Shah, Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) Islamabad were also present on the occasion.
According to the objective of the MOU, manuscripts in the field of social sciences will be contributed and published. A conference may also be organised with the collaboration of the signatories on the topic of Research Methadology in Bara Gali.
NIHCR will organise a three-day book exhibition in the University of Peshawar within one month. UOP will recommend NIHCR publications for its students of History Department.-PR
