Islamabad, February 9: Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry says talks between Afghan government and Taliban are expected by the end of this month. He was briefing Senate’s Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs in Islamabad on Tuesday. He said Pakistan wants Afghan reconciliation process to move forward.
Briefing the committee about Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s visits to Saudi Arabia and Iran, Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry said the Islamic world has appreciated Pakistan’s effort to reduce tension between the two countries.-Online
