SAHIWAL, January 29: Chief of Awami Muslim League (AML), Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad has asserted on Sunday that no leader of the country could take away Lal Haveli from him at any cost.
He was addressing participants of a rally of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Sahiwal when he warned the government against taking away Lal Haveli that he occupies in downtown of Rawalpindi in his constituency. He alleged premier Nawaz Sharif of intending to ‘snatch’ Lal Haveli.Rasheed branded Panama Leaks case currently being heard in the Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP) a case signifying ‘life and death’ of Pakistan, He said that the day Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif tells the truth, it would be the last day of his political career. On the occasion, PTI’s Vice-Chairman, Shah Mehmood Qureshi claimed that the political party is going to win General Elections 2018. A case over alleged corruption at hands of the first family of Pakistan is being heard in the apex court after Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, AML, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) among other opposition parties raised the issued following Panama Leaks in April last year.-Agencies
