ISLAMABAD, February 27: The Government has announced public holiday on March 1, 2017 in all the educational institutions in Islamabad and Rawalpindi due to 13th Summit of ECO, Economic Corporation Organization being held in Islamabad.
For the security of ECO Summit a high level meeting was held in Islamabad chaired by Federal Minister for Interior, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan. District Administration of Islamabad and Rawalpindi and police officials participated in the meeting. It was decided that on Tuesday all the educational institutions and government offices in Islamabad and Rawalpindi will be closed at 1.00PM, while on Tuesday it would be a public holiday. -Monitoring Desk
