The Russian president Putin is believed to be the richest man in the world today according to a reliable western journal. He has made a lot of money through investments in Russian oil and gas. He feels happy if somebody offers him costly gifts of prohibitive costs. The owner of England’s famous football club Chelsea had reportedly gifted him a luxury ship worth billions of dollars .
Lenin must be turning in his grave over the fate of communism at the hands of his successors. Putin has meted out the same treatment to the communist ideology which some of our so-called religious did to Islamic idealogy. Both of them were insincere to the the ideology which they preached. The fact of the matter is that soon after the demise of Lenin who was architect of Red Revolution most of the Russian leaders deviated from the path of communism . They were more equals than the others , as they say. They started living a luxurious life in big Dachas. Putin also belongs to them.
Communists like Lenin, Mao, Chou-en-Lai, Castro, Che Guevara, Ho-Chen , to mention a few, have always been a rare commodity.
