ISLAMABAD, March 7: Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui of Islamabad High Court (IHC) has remarked that those involved in uploading blasphemous content on social media are terrorists.
He further remarked ” if government can not block such blasphemous pages then it should shut down PTA. If we need to close the entire social media on this count then we will do so.
He gave these remarks while announcing the orders in the case of uploading of blasphemous material on social media Tuesday.
Justice Shaukat Aziz remarked ” I declare all those as terrorists who upload such blasphemous material on social media.
Justice also inquired what steps were taken by government on this matter. This matter can not be left on bureaucracy.
Action will be taken against those watching the feat . We will close down the entire social media if we need to do so, he observed.
‘Justice Aziz while directing Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar to appear before it in person today remarked that if government cannot block blasphemous pages on social media then it should close down PTA. -Online
