More often than not the members of provincial and national assemblies of the country indulge in loose talk and fisticuffs in the premises of Assemblies thus bringing a very bad name to the overall image of the legislature. It is a pity that the leadership of many political parties has not given proper training to their elected members, particularly to the new comers as to how they are supposed to conduct themselves in the House.
In the same manner due attention is not being given by the High Command of some parties to the training of their workers , the rank-and-file as how to behave in public meetings or during their contact with the workers of the parties politically opposed to them.
It is not said without good reasons that while a wound inflicted by sword can heal one day the one caused by tongue seldom heals. It festers for a long, long time. The workers of many political parties use derogatory language bordering on obscenity against the leaders of their political rival parties which rankle in the minds of the aggrieved parties until kingdom come.
There is a need on the part of leaders of political parties to hold special refresher courses for their workers in order to bring home to them the need of observance of decency while dealing with their counterparts in other political parties.
