ISLAMABAD, March 16: Directorate of Municipal Administration is back bone of Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad. Performance of Directorate of Municipal administration reflects overall performance of Municipal Corporation Islamabad. Directorate of Municipal Administration therefore needs to keep its performance on target consistently.
Mayor Islamabad and Chairman, Capital Development Authority Sheikh Ansar Aziz expressed these views while chairing a meeting.
The meeting was held at CDA Headquarters to review the performance of Directorate of Municipal Administration. Top Management of Metropolitan Corporation including Chief Officer, Metropolitan Corporation and Director Municipal Administration also attended the meeting.
Director Municipal Administration while briefing during the meeting told that Directorate of Municipal Administration collected Rs.9,734,107/- as license fee on account of parking and shops. Rs.7,296,920/- were collected by Directorate of Municipal Administration on account of sign boards fee. Similarly Directorate of Municipal Administration collected Rs. 432,000/- on account of steamer fee. Rs.1,737,980/- were collected on account of NOC, telecom unit fee.
Directorate of Municipal Administration collected RS.595,490/- on account of trade license fee.
Similarly Rs.12,522,890/- on account of open spaces fee, Director Municipal Administration briefed the meeting. All these collection were made during month of January, the Director Municipal Administration further said.
During the review meeting Director Municipal Administration further informed that Directorate of Municipal Administration received Rs.242,130/- on account of death/birth certificate fee during the month of January, 2017. Similarly Rs.22,400/- were received on account of compound fee and Rs.1,000/- were received on account of dog token fee.
Director Municipal Administration further informed the meeting that Directorate of Municipal Administration received Rs.78,000/- on account of challan by Magistrate.
Rs.334,340/- were received on account of Bazaar / Stalls fee during month of January. Similarly Rs.106,350/- were received on account of grave yard transportation while Rs.162,950/- were received by Directorate of Municipal Administration on account of Grave digging charges. -PR
Director Municipal Administration further informed that Directorate of Municipal Administration received total amount of Rs.33,266,557/- in all heads of accounts mentioned above.-PR
