CHAKWAL, March 26: Pakistan People’s Party four candidates who have filed their nomination papers for the by-election of PP-23 have withdrawn their nomination papers in the favour of PTI candidate Col. Sultan Surkhru, as a dialogue between the high command of Pakistan People’s Party and PTI was successfully ended.
It is now a straight fight between PML(N) candidate Sharyar Awan and Col. Sultan Surkhru of PTI who is also enjoying the support of PML(Q), JI and Pakistan Awami Tehreek.
PTI held a big public rally last day that made a panic in the rank of PML(N) and all the parliamentarians of PML(N) were summoned at Lahore by Hamza Shahbaz Sharif.
Hamza Shahbaz Sharif expressed his great concern over the differences between MNA Sardar Mamtaz Tamman and advisor to Chief Minister Malik Saleem Iqbal.
Hamza Shahbaz urged the parliamentarians that they must brush aside their petty differences and spread the manifesto of PML(N) at every nook and corner and he wanted to see Malik Shahryar Awan victorious on 18 th April, Continued on page 7
