ISLAMABAD, March 28: Supreme Court on Tuesday maintained decision pertaining to demote 121 Punjab police officers who got out-of-turn promotions.
According to details, a three-member bench headed by Justice Amir Muslim Hani heard the case during which the court sustained the verdict of high court and ordered demotion of the officers.
Justice Amir said that those who got promotion without hard working need to be downgraded. Earlier, the court had also suggested the officials to take retirement but they refused to do so. -DNA
