Vows to continue ousted PM’s work
ISLAMABAD, July 30: Pakistn Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and nominated interim-prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has on Sunday said that the decision of the Supreme Court has been implemented and his party is putting forth every effort for continuity of democratic process in the country. Islamabad on Sunday, he said that we have implemented court’s decision despite our view that neither the country’s people nor the international community has accepted it and even history will also not accept it.
The nominated interim PM said that the party is taking all decisions, including formation of cabinet, through consultation.
He said that holding an Iqama is not legal, adding that the interpretations of laws are being changed now a days.
Responding to the announcement of Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed regarding filing a reference against him, Abbasi said that he is not afraid of any reference, adding that his assets are clear.
Answering a question, he said that Chaudhry Nisar was, is and will remain an important member of the PML-N.-Agencies
