ISLAMABAD, August 27: Former Pakistani president Asif Ali Zardari has urged disqualified prime minister Nawaz Sharif to face cases instead of running away from them, sources reported.
The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader made the statement while meeting party leaders here in Islamabad.
He asked why Sharif is evading cases if did do anything wrong?
Zardari said that the cases against him were filed for ‘political retaliation’. He received justice from the courts. He added that he moved the courts despite being targeted. The PPP leader stated that they never ran away from the cases against them. During the meeting, PPP leaders congratulated Zardari on being acquitted in the cases against him. -Agencies
