Why is Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif on war path? And against whom?
This week he has made two statements that have stunned the Nation.
The first statement was made on Wednesday in which he accepted that the former Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpaee was justified in believing that Pakistan’s Kargil “misadventure” in 1999 was a stab in his back.
“Vajpaee told me he had been stabbed in the back with the Kargil misadventure because it came soon after the Lahore Declaration. I told him I would have said the same thing if I were in his place, “said MNS addressing a public rally in Muzzafarabad. “But who do I complain to about it now? People of India and Pakistan are alike….we pray to the same god. We both cherish aloo gosht.”
I wonder which of the Hindu gods Mian Sahib prays to … Vishuoo, Brahmu or Shankar?
Muslims worship and pray to only Allah. If Hindus too had worshipped and prayed to Allah, there would have been no Pakistan.
The other statement he made a day earlier was no less stunning He warned the NAB against the consequences of harassing innocent money-makes.” Among these harassed money makers is Mian Nawaz Sharif’s financial comrade Mian Mansha (as Rana Sanaullah has stated). The other one is a contractor in the Orange Train project, Amir Latif who was arrested by the NAB recently for fake payments amounting to millions.
