India maintained traditional anti Pakistan mindset and without losing a single moment summoned American ambassador in New Delhi for expressing deep concerns on provision of F-16 aircrafts to Pakistan. Interestingly, India complained that Pakistan would use F-16 aircrafts against her instead of terrorists. A baseless logic driven with deep rooted prejudice which can rightly be taken as true reflection of Indian policy towards Pakistan. Pak foreign office adopted a genuine stance that F-16 aircrafts proved highly effective in Zarb-e-Azb. Indian infinite hunger for conventional and non-conventional arms turns her all allegations on Pakistan doubtful. Indian hostile stance is neither unexpected nor purposeless. Who can forget restless efforts made in America by one of our ex ambassador against F-16 aircrafts deal. In his best possible capacity, he left no stone unturned in propagating the reasons exactly adopted by India recently. Majority of nation understands the true reality of such intellectuals who are graded not more than a ‘Biased Indian Daily Wages Drum Beaters’.
Surprisingly, such intellectuals always present a highly biased analysis contradicting to ground realities. Precisely taking the F-16 aircrafts deal as a test case, Mr ex-ambassador came up with concerns about Indian safety and regional security but in the same moment he could not spot vast Indian arsenal comprising of lethal conventional and non-conventional weapons. It is an undeniable fact that India is the biggest importer of arms in the world. On one hand unemployment and poverty ratio is touching unsatisfactory bars. Health and education still remains few of the most neglected aspects. Indian citizens are deprived from basic amenities of life. But on the other hand, every Indian government is enhancing the defence budget primarily by allocating more exchequer for lethal arms deals. According to a recent estimate of international experts, India holds the fastest growing nuclear arsenal in world. Indian arms deals with Russia inked during last year provide eye opening facts. Procurement of SA 400 Air Defence System worth 4.5 billion dollar,
5th generation fighter aircrafts deal worth 10 billion dollar, hiring of nuclear submarine and purchase of three latest frigates are the few glimpses of Indian abhorrent arms hunger. Numerous media reports exposed secret establishment of South Asia’s largest arms research centre in Karnatak state expected to be fully functional by 2017. Indian project for preparation of Hydrogen bomb in this centre is no mystery for international community. It is the real face of India. Do Indian aircrafts shower flowers instead of ammunition? Haven’t Indian nuclear arsenal destabilizing regional power matrix? In the presence of more than ten separatist movements how Indian nuclear arsenal can be graded safe?
Although, Zarb-e-Azb provides a valid justification for F-16, deal rightly used by Pak foreign office but our national honour demands a more solid reply to baseless Indian objections. Has there been no Zarb-e-Azb in progress today even then Pakistan possesses all rights to take every possible step for national defence.
Military threat for Pakistan originates form India and accordingly culminates at her. India holds the credit for accelerating the arms race in South Asia. Pakistan’s defence preparations are primarily India centric. Unfortunately, Indian daily wages drum beaters do not consider this obvious dimension of the regional matrix. India possesses strong thrust to become regional policeman and Pak defence capabilities are the major hurdle pinching her heart. Under existing regional situation Nepal, Sri Lanka, Maldive and Bangladesh are significantly harmless for India. Presently, any military conflict with China does not suits to Indian designs. Finally, India never miss any opportunity to dominate Pakistan through multiple coercive means. India’s actual worth may be assessed with the fact that a small country like Nepal rejected all pressure by adopting a secular constitution and formally lodged a complaint in UNO against Indian economic blockade.
We must understand this reality that India poses diplomatic as well as military threat to Pakistan’s existence. Most of the analysts logically opine that Indian objections on F-16 deal are baseless and irrationale. Having no contradiction with this valid opinion, another dimension of this matter invites attention. Ajeet Doval openly admitted sponsorship of anti Pakistan terrorists. Master minds of BKU attack got full support including financial aid from Indian consulates operating in Afghanistan. Terrorists involved in abhorrent acts in Pakistan are still hiding under Indian patronage in Afghanistan. Under these circumstances, if Pak F-16 aircrafts target these terrorists then India is rightly justified in objecting upon aircraft deal. After all these anti Pakistan terrorists are obviously Indian assets.
