shahbazsharifLAHORE, February 20: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif says provincial government will send students to Turkey to learn Turkish language.
In a statement from Lahore on Saturday, he directed the provincial Higher Education Department to finalize necessary measures in this regard. He said due to the growing social and economic relations, knowing the Turkish language is necessary. Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif chaired a meeting of Provincial Cabinet Committee for Law and Order in Lahore on Saturday.
During the meeting, overall law and order situation in province, and the recent firing incident on police personnel in Lahore and Faisalabad were reviewed in detail. Prayer was offered for the martyred police personnel and rich tribute was given to their great sacrifice. Addressing the meeting, the Chief Minister said that martyred personnel are heroes of whole nation and the Provincial Government will properly looked after their families.-NNI
