ISLAMABAD, May 15: Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday declared petition seeking legal action against Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif over Mumabi attacks remarks admissible for hearing, reported Dunya News.
IHC had summoned reply from Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Director General, Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) chairman and Pakistan Telecom Authority (PTA) chairman in this regard.
The petitioners had pleaded to direct PEMRA chairman to impose ban on Nawaz Sharif’s anti-judiciary cases. They further pleaded to remove all anti-state content from social media sites.
IHC had made Nawaz Sharif, FIA DG, PEMRA chairman and PTA chairman plaintiffs in the case. -NNI
