Why the hell did Nawaz League government give a parting gift of blue passport to serving as well as retired parliamentarians which is a symbol of VVIP status?By doing so didn’t it go back on its promise that it would finish the VVIP culture on coming to power? Why the heck did it increase various types of financial allowances of parliamentarians when the state bank was crying itself hoarse that the country is on the brink of bankcruptcy ?A government which is so indifferent to the plight of labourers that it has fixed a liducrously low monthly wage of a labourer has no right, whatever, to increase allowances of its parliamentarians when they are already so comfortably placed when it comes to their pay and allowances. Their expenditure stands documented . A fair amount of taxes could easily be recovered from them but the governments didn’t touch them during the past three decades or so because they belonged to the economic class to which the rulers of this country belonged.
