KARACHI, June 28: PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto has changed its manifesto and announced the ‘Eliminate Hunger Programme’ in place of ‘Roti, Kapra Aur Makan’.
Announcing the manifesto on Thursday, he said that Pakistan’s debt has increased manifold. “The parliament has been brought to double standards.”
He said that conspiracies of their enemies are at their peak.
“Pakistan has been isolated at the diplomatic level. We will improve our relations with the world and create harmony among the institutions,” he said.
The PPP chairman said that the deficit and circular debt have reached the dangerous level. “It is manifesto of the PPP to strengthen democracy.”
He said that exploitation of the parliament and democracy is unacceptable.
The PPP chairman said that they will open public dispensaries in urban areas and issue the health cards, enabling the poor to get free treatment.
He said that they have to secure the future of the next generations.
Bilawal Bhutto claimed that the PPP bricklined 1,800 kilometres of canals, which saved water. “We constructed a dam in Jamshoro. It is pity that no water project was launched in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab,” he maintained.
He said that the PPP had increased the salaries of the government employees by 135 percent. -Agencies
