LAHORE, July 6: Beating their chests and burning tyres, PML-N supporters in Lahore protested after an anti-corruption court sentenced party leader Nawaz Sharif to 10 years in prison on corruption charges. Nawaz’s daughter Maryam received a seven-year sentence, while his son-in-law, Captain (retd) Safdar was given a one-year sentence in a verdict that came as a serious blow to PML-N’s campaign ahead of the July 25 elections.-Agencies
