Many books have been written by the investigators and analysts on false flag operations by the US, Israel and India. One such investigator is Elias Davidsson who produced a book on the Mumbai terror attacks. The book is titled ‘The Betrayal of India: Revisiting the 26/11 Evidence’ published by Pharos New Delhi. Calling it a false flag attack, the author wrote: “On the basis of Indian narrative how easy it was to get a bonanza of funds and equipment for the Mumbai police. And why it was possible, given the framing of the event as an act of war for India’s armed forces to get an immediate 21 per cent hike in military spending with promises of continuing increases in subsequent years” (page 739 of the book). The book comprises 904 pages and is a must read who wish to know the truth about 26/11.
The book is a highly significant achievement and is of objective importance to anyone interested in the War and Terror – the structure and motifs of its ongoing fictions and the methods through which civil society researchers can lay bare these fictions. The book raised a storm in India. Davidsson has developed his argument with detailed research and authenticated resources. Indian version of Mumbai attacks was laid bare and exposed, as the author concluded that Indian state’s investigation of the attacks was a big eyewash to cheat Indian and international audience, just to blame Pakistan. The author blames Indian establishment and their US partners and writes: “It is highly plausible, that major institutional actors in India, the United States and possibly Israel, were complicit in conceiving, planning, directing and executing the attacks of 26/11; evidence of a deceptive investigation is even stronger”.
The author has rebutted the Indian narrative and proved with authenticity that Indian version was totally concocted, based on deceit and outright lies, and that it was promulgated through a well thought out disinformation campaign ensconced in hyperbole. The book is based on incisive and critical analysis of the official narrative of 26/11 and the author has endeavored to go through court documents and testimonies of dozens of important witnesses and their linkages with media outbursts parroted by Indian media. Indian courts ignored prime evidence and failed to reach at viable conclusions, doing injustice to the whole case. “Of the hundreds of witnesses processed by the court” in relation to the attacks at the Café 0Leopold, Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, Oberoi-Trident Hotel or Nariman House, not a single one testified to having observed any of the eight accused kill anyone”, the author wrote.
The dead, five out of six were Israeli citizens, and their dead bodies were whisked back to Israel by a Jewish organization based in Israel, what they said, for religious reasons. The surviving alleged terrorist had no public trial. Mysterious malfunctioning of the majority of CCTV cameras on the days was in question, as only a very small percentage of the claimed footage was ever released, which suffered from serious defects – two conflicting time-stamps and signs of editing. Main witnesses of attack were not called by Indian court to record their statements. Indian security forces took almost three days to kill all the terrorists, and it seemed that the local support was involved in the attacks. Even some Indian officers stated that attackers were not Pakistanis; they had nationalities of some other countries as well.
Mumbai police commissioner at the time had stated that attackers were Indian citizens belonging to north Indian states, but had to retract his statement later on under duress. Mumbai police manipulated facts and figures and deliberately killed senior police officer Karkare with the help of Hindu radicals Karkare, who was about to disclose the role of Hindutva/home grown terrorism behind Mumbai attacks. An Indian national Miss Anamika Gupta in an affidavit presented in front of the court stated that she saw Ajmal Kassab coming Nariman House two days before the attacks. Her testament later on was not accepted by the court. Interestingly, acknowledgement of intelligence failure, administrative negligence and bureaucratic incompetency were simple tactics to mislead the people from reaching the real causes and faces behind the 26/11, and to create media frenzy. Ajmal Kassab had claimed during investigation before court that he was arrested 3 weeks before attacks, which he later on retracted under duress. Indian government had also claimed that Ajmal Kassab wanted to destroy Taj Mehal hotel, which was absurd and an impossible act since total explosive found on assailants was only 6 Kgs. In introduction, the author stated that it was puzzling that it took 1,000 police officers, security forces personnel and trained commandos more than 60 hours to subdue ten gunmen scattered over several locations. The Indian authorities, including Indian PM, had immediately blamed Pakistani entities for the attacks before any investigation had even started. Having that said, Indian government failed to provide any concrete evidence regarding Mumbai attacks in the court and to the international community.
