LAHORE, August 25: Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar Saturday said that the Punjab Government will introduce the reforms in Punjab Police on the lines of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Talking to a delegation of notables from Dera Ghazi Khan at Chief Minister Office, Sardar Usman Buzdar said the change have come for the better future of the people and the government have to work hard day and night for real change, and Prime Minister Imran Khan and his team will come up to the expectations of the people. He said PM Imran Khan will work round-the-clock to realise the expectations of the public. The journey for new Pakistan has started under the leadership of PM Imran Khan. He said the people of South Punjab will get their rights and solid measures will be taken to end crimes and all-out resources will be utilized to protect life and property of the people. He said the same reforms will be introduced in the Punjab Police that have been introduced in the police of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and in the new Pakistan the police will act as the servant of the people. He said the change in the attitude of the police will be brought about at any cost. A comprehensive strategy will be formulated to change the attitude of the police. The theft of cattle, snatching of motorcycles and other crimes will be controlled in Dera Ghazi Khan and strict action will be taken against those involved in the street crimes across the province. The delegation, speaking on the occasion, said the election of Sardar Usman Buzdar as the chief minister is the proof of the real change and he is harbinger of the change in the deprived and poor areas. – NNI
